Taylor Swift is Taylor Alison Swift. Taylor Swift was born on the 13th of December, 1989 in Pennsylvania's West Reading. Swift has been a pop/country singer-songwriter for the past 20 years. Swift got inspiration from musicians of country music like Shania Twain, the Dixie Chicks as well as the Chicks to create original material in which she expressed the feeling of alienation she felt at the age of thirteen. Swift left Pennsylvania together with her parents, in the state of Tennessee to Hendersonville when she reached 13 and decided to spend more time to the wooing of labels of country music in Nashville.
